Graduation of the 8th Batch of Rapid Support Forces
The scene at the Military College Stadium during the graduation ceremony of the 8th batch of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) was amazing. The theme of the ceremony was (one Line Like the Nile).
The ceremony was attended by distinguished figures on top of them were the Pesident of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen.Abdul Fatah Al-Burhan, First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, Prime Minister, D. Abdallah Hamdok, Defence Minister, 1st Lt. Gen. Jamal Addin Omer, Interior Minister, 1st Lt. Gen. Al-Tirifi Idris besides number of military, security, police, military attachés of neighboring countries along with religious and local administrations leaders.
The Cohesion with the Top Brass
The features of the carnival at the entrance of the Military College Stadium revealed some of the noble missions of the Rapid Support Forces in supporting the nation and its people during peace and war times.
The masses that filled the stadium seemed to be in harmony with what the RSF graduates presented inside the pitch.
The carnival started with the inspection of the parade by the President of the Sovereign Council and his deputy.
The graduates presented samples of the skills they acquired in their 9 months of training.
The carnival included samples of the military equipment that proves the readiness of the RSF in defending the homeland.
Folklore dances were also present in the carnival.
Al-Burhan: The RSF Deserves Thousands of Appreciations:
In his address to the graduation carnival, President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Abdul Fatah Al-Burhan greeted that Sudanese people who are the makers of the revolution, pointing out that the Rapid Support Forces deserve thousands of appreciations due to its honesty and devotion, adding that the RSF are a real support to the national rank and the Sudanese Armed Forces due to its great efforts in protecting the nation.
“The Sudanese people believe that this batch will contribute in preserving the transitional period to cross to the safe shores to build the new Sudan of freedom, peace, justice, and aspired democracy” Al Burhan added.
Daglo Addresses the Carnival, Expressed His Pride towards the RSF, Calls on the Political Forces to Sign a Code of Ethics to Protect the Transitional Period
First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Moahmmed Hamdan Daglo addressed the carnival affirming that the graduates were provided by advanced military training by specialized experts in military spheres, describing the Rapid Support Forces as the Nile, red Sea Mountains, Taka Mountains, Jebel Marra Mountains and the high palm trees of Sudan.
Daglo enumerated the achievements of the Rapid Support Forces, affirming that is contributed in protecting the borders, hence aborting all the attempts of human traffickers and smugglers.
He added that the Rapid Support Forces also managed to stop the tribal conflicts through leading reconciliations among the tribes all over the country.
He affirmed that the rapid Support Forces played a great role in firearms collection, eliminating the illegal migration, human trafficking and crossing organized crime.
Daglo called on the international community – specially the countries affected by the illegal migration – to implement development projects in the poor countries to contribute in the stability of youth.
On the peace talks, Daglo said that the negotiations in Juba are progressing, affirming that the peace is inching closer, calling on the political forces to sign a code of ethics to protect the transitional period.
Daglo enumerated the achievements of the Rapid Support Forces and its contributions in preserving peace and achieving peace in Darfur and other parts of Sudan.
He called for code of ethics to protect the democracy, expressing appreciation to the sisterly countries on top of which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, South Sudan, Eghpt and Chad for their continuous support to Sudan.
