RSF Seize 1200 Pieces of Firearms, 320 Motorcycles

South Darfur Governor, Maj. Gen. Hashim Khalid Mahmoud lauded the great efforts exerted by Rapid Support Forces (RSF) - Restoring the Right) Battalion – in containing the tribal conflict erupted between Rizigat and Fallata early last month in South Darfur a matter that enabled the authorities bring about control in the conflict areas,

He added, while addressing the launching ceremony of Tribes Conflicts and Security Violation Seized Properties Exhibition organized by the RSF at Martyr Al-Suhaili  in Nyala city  under the slogan (Restoring the Right and Bringing  about Control of the government .

Maj. Gen. Hashim Khaalid announced the wrap-uo of the mission of the campaign after bringing about control in South Darfur , countering the tribal conflicts besides opening the paths for the nomads to ease the crossing of the cattle and contributing in making the agricultural season a success

He commended the concern of the Sovereign Council and the Council of Ministers and their support, pointing out that the security authorities will continue its mission in curbing the negative aspects and practices.

For his part the RSF commander of Darfur sectors, Maj. Gen. Isam Addin Saleh Fedail inspected the battalion which included the Army, RSF and Police  lauding their great efforts in the localities of the southern sector of the state which resulted in seizing 1200 pieces of firearms, 320 motorcycles, and arresting 192 insurgents and put them in prison under the act of emergency,

Fedail disclosed that the harmony among the battalion components contributed in arresting the insurgents , ending the tribal conflicts, restoring 31 thiusand of looted cattle and bringing it back to its owners.
