Kulbus Locality in West Darfur State received the RSF Peace Shield Troops which were deployed to preserve security along with the RSF troops formed to protect the citizens as stipulated in Juba Peace Agreement.
RSF Commander in Al-Genaina, Brig. Idris Hassan Ibrahim affirmed, while addressing the deployed troops, that the joining of the Peace Shield troop is considered an actual addition to preserve peace and stability besides protecting the borders.
He added that the Peace Shield troops will be under the disposal of the security committee in the locality and will work jointly with other regular forces, pointing out that the troops are well trained a matter which will enable it conduct its mission in a professional manner.
For his part, the executive manager of Kulbus locality, Saad Abdallah said that the troops will contribute in maintaining peace and security and safeguarding the lives of the citizens.
The Deputy Chieftain of Dar Gamar welcomed the arrival of the troops, lauding the of the RSF in making the agricultural season a success, describing it as a strong shield which will contribute in the stability in the area.
