Peace Shield Commander in North Darfur Affirms Desire to Impose Rule of Law

Commander of the Peace Shield battalion in North Darfur, Brig. Al-Nour Ahmed Adam, has affirmed the desire of the troops to impose rule of law to provide security to the citizens in all parts of the state, pointing out to the deployment of the troops in all the areas to curb the negative aspects besides protecting the civilians and peacekeeping.
It is worth noting that the Peace Shield , which is deployed to all Darfur states, arrived recently in El-Fashir aiming at bringing about control and protecting the citizens following the exit of UNAMID. They were received  at the entrance of the city the RSF commander in North Darfur, Brig. Jido Hamdan Abunshuk and several military commanders in the state.
 Commander of the Peace Shield battalion in North Darfur, Brig. Al-NourAhmed Adam, said in exclusive statement to  RSF Electronic Information that the security measures implemented by the RSF aim at curbing the negative aspects such as drugs besides elimination of the insurgency in response tp the directives of the First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, adding that all criminals will be brought to justice.
He disclosed that the RSF are working in coordination and cooperation with the armed struggle movements and other regular forces in order to provide security and achieve sustainable peace, affirming their openness towards all the citizens in towns and villages to provide assistance besides awareness on the importance of peace and peaceful coexistence.
