FVP Meets South Sudan President

First Vice President (FVP) of the Transitional Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo met today in Juba President of South Sudan State, Salva Kiir Mayardit.
The meeting discussed the progress in Sudan Peace implementation besides the developments in South Sudan peace dossier.
On his part, South Sudan President Advisor, Tut Galwak said in press statements that the FVP of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has briefed President Salva Kiir on the formation of peace mechanisms which are participated by the signatory armed struggle movements, pointing out that President salva Kiir asked the FSPLM-N led by Abdulaziz Al-Hilu considering that the SPLM-N delegation is in Juba and ready for the resumption of talks with the Sudanese government.
Meanwhile, the meeting discussed the developments on South Sudan peace process, as the FVP was assured by President salva Kiir that the current month will witness the formation of the States’ council and the national legislative council, pointing out to the formation of the governments of the states and the imminent completion of training the national army.
