RSF Health Convoy Arrives in Al-Zurug Area in North Darfur

Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) convoy in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in darfur states, Colonel Mohammadain Ismail Bashr, lauded the efforts of the local administration in Al-Zurug area in North Darfur in strengthening  the social fabric among the tribes in the area.

This came while he was addressing the the ceremony of handing the health convoy to the medical director of Al-Zurug hospital in the presence of the RSF commander (Al-Zurug Sector) and the local administration.

He said that the convoy comes in response to the directives of the  First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, RSF Commander in Chief , 1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo within the government efforts in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, adding that the convoy includes medical assistance, masks, sterilizers and spray for the public facilities in the area.

For his part, the RSF Commander of Al-Zurug Sector, Colonel Al-Hadi Mohammed Faris welcomed the convoy, affirming that it contributed in raising the spirits among the citizens and health workers in the area.

He expressed appreciation to the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, adding that the convoy represented an actual support in the fight against COVID019.

Meanwhile, Chieftain Juma’a Daglo reiterated the appreciation  of the citizens to the convoy and its leader, adding that the convoy contributed considerably in the fights against COVID-19 in the area.
