Rapid Support Forces (RSF) dispatched this morning an integrated convoy to the southern areas of the Blue Nile States according to the directives of The 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohsmmed Hamdan Daglo.
The convoy includes medical support to the government of the state besides organizing awareness campaigns and sterilization from COVID-19 pandemic along with distribution of foodstuff to the needy families and those effected by the lockdown including Ramadan bag.
RSF Spokesperson, Head of Guidance and Services, Brig. Gamal Juma;a Adam stated that the convoy comes within the framework of the RSF endeavors to provide support to the people of the Blue Nile State and extension to its efforts in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic
He announced dispatching several convoys to other states which need support during the holy month of Ramadan as part of supporting the national efforts in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, pointing out that the convoy, which will last for 5 days, will be under the disposal of the government of the Blue Nile State.
For his part, RSF Information Director, Lt. Colonel, Musaab Ahmed Mohammed, called on all sectors in the Blue Nile State community to react with the convoy to enable it achieve its objectives, wishing quick end to COVID-19 pandemic all over the globe.
