Daglo Addresses SLM Ceremony on the Occasion of Signing the Peace Agreement

First Vice President of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo addressed this night (Sunday), the celebrations of the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM)  - Minni Arko Minnawi Faction -,  which was organized to celebrate the signature of the peace agreement. The ceremony was honored by the presence of the leader of the movement and the chief of the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) besides number of leading figures of the signatory movements.
For his part, the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council lauded the efforts of the government of South Sudan in achieving peace in Sudan despite the difficulties it faces, expressing appreciation to  the government and people of South Sudan State, adding that the efforts exerted by South Sudan is but a prove that the Sudanese peace is a 100% Sudanese made.
Daglo affirmed that the peace agreement is an evidence that Africans are able to resolve their problems by themselves.
“We will work in resolving our disputes by ourselves and will endeavor to resolve the problems of the neighbouring countries especially Libya and Central African Republic” Daglo said.
He called on the youth of the SLM to organize peace celebrations in Khartoum, Dafur and all the States of Sudan.
