Sennar State bid farewell to the RSF convoy dispatched to assist the floods-affected citizens in Sennar and Gezira States.
The farewell ceremony was honored by the Governor of the State, Al-Mahi Mohammed Suleiman, the executive body of the government, and the local administration chiefs.
The Governor of Sennar State, Al-Mahi Mohamed Suleiman addressed the ceremony expressing appreciation to the RSF for dispatching the convoy to assist the floods-affected citizens, commending the timely respond of the RSF to resolve the issues of the citizens.
He called on the RSF to participate in the reconstruction process in the State, urging all the regular forces to cooperate with the government.
Local administration representative in Sennar State, Chieftain Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Fouda praised the RSF for their efforts and support, adding that this ceremony expresses the appreciation towards the RSF which managed to bring about control and achieve stability besides its humanitarian initiatives provided directly to the citizens.
For his part, the commander of the RSF convoy, Lt. Col. Adam Mohamed Saleh expressed appreciation to the warm welcome and hospitality of Senanr government, local administration and citizens, affirming that the convoy is part of the RSF mission towards the floods-affected citizens.
