The Governor of Sennar State, Al-Mahi Mohamed Suleiman has received this evening (Thursday) at the buildings of the secretariat general of the government the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) convoy to assist the floods-affected citizens.
The Governor said that the convoy was expected and is considered a considerable push to the affected citizens.
He commended the convoy, affirming that it reflects the coherence of the regular forces with the citizens in their ordeals and disasters, calling on the RSF to contribute in the reconstruction projects of the State, adding that the RSF are always timely in their respond.
For his part, the head of Al-Fonj community, Chieftain Hassan Adlan expressed appreciation to the RSF officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers for their providing the assistance to the floods-affected citizens in Sennar State, commending their role in achieving peace and stability all over the country, conveying the appreciation of the citizens of Sinja city to the 1st Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Commander in chief of the Rapid Support Forcres, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo.
