The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Desert Shield Division has managed to intercept and arrest armed group operating along the Sudanese-Libyan border.
Safer-Let Military Base received a report of armed group involved in human trafficking, smuggling, weapons, narcotics trades, the RSF immediately debarked to the area and arrested the group without casualties.
In a press statement, Safer-Let Military Base Commander, Colonel Osman Ali Abdul-Magid said that the group consists of (4) four-wheel drive vehicles, equiped with all kinds of heavy and light weapons, wearing military uniform, as well as (4) ZS trucks loaded with goods.
The RSF is deployed around the border to combat trespassing crimes, illegal migration, human trafficking, narcotics, weapons, smugglings.
