Baronga Receives RSF and Stave-off Conflicts, Reconciliation and Development Centre Convoy

Bronga area of Kas Locality in South Darfur State received today (Friday) the humanitarian Convoy dispatched by the RSF and Stave-off Conflicts, Reconciliation and Development Centre  to the areas affected by conflicts in Kas and Shataya. The convoy was received by distinguished figures representing the community of the area.

The commander of the convoy, Brig. Gamal Juma’s who is the RSF Spokesperson and the director of Guidance and Services lauded the warm welcome from the citizens of Baronga, affirming that the RSF will not leave the area till everything is in place especially modernization of the agriculture machineries, firearms collection and safeguarding the agricultural season, adding that Baronga deserves the assistance to ease the lives of the citizens till harvest time.

For his part, UNAMID site director in Kass Locality, Bintue Keui expressed appreciation to the RSF for the efforts exerted in preserving the security and safety of the citizens.

Keui pointed out that the RSF are always present at all times to provide assistance and support to the citizens besides achieving sustainable security, stability and peace.
