FVP Directs Formation of Investigation Committee on Kolgi and Galab Incidents

The investigation committee formed to investigate the incidents of Kolgi and Galab has arrived in El-Fashir led by Member of the Sovereign Council, Mohammed El-Hassan Al-Taaishi accompanied by members of the peace partners’ council members, Deputy RSF Commander in Chief, Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Daglo, Lt. Gen. Abdallah Al-Bashir Ishag, Secretary General of JEM and Deputy chairman of the joint high military committee Dr. Lt. Gen. Suleiman Sandal and number of military leaders and parties of the peace process besides representative from the Attorney General.
The committee was received by the Governor of North Darfur State, Nimir Mohammed Abdul Rahman and members of his government besides the security committee in the state.
The committee entered directly into a meeting with security committee of the state to review the situation after which it will start its mission over the recent incidents occurred in Kogali and Galab and neighboring areas.
It is to be noted that the FVP of the Sovereign Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo chaired an emergency meeting with each of Members of the Sovereign Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris and Al-Tahir Hagar, besides governor of Darfur, Mani Arko Minnawi, Secretary General of JEM and Deputy chairman of the joint high military committee Dr. Lt. Gen. Suleiman Sandal and number of military leaders and parties of the peace process. The meeting revealed the formation of an investigation committee to fly to El-Fashir.
